About 2012 – Well It’s Here And Now, And Not Likely To Get Better Soon…

I’ve been interested in spiritual talk around 2012 for many years. I’ve read channelled messages and books about it (I even have a book called 2013 that I have yet to tackle), watched videos and the recent film ‘2012’, talked to friends, and pondered on it – you know, as you do.

What is the real truth behind all this information? Why did the Mayan calendar suddenly end in December 2012? Is it really going to be the end of the world? What will the impact be on us? Will the earth shift on its axis suddenly and cause mass calamity? What’s it really all about?

So here’s my take on it. It’s not just a ‘take’ but I am deadly serious. I don’t for one minute think the world is about to end, but I DO think the world will change – radically. Below is what I think will happen. My sources of information come not just from new-age/spiritual resources, not just from interviewing, for example, Suzy Ward who has first-hand knowledge from her son on the other side – see my Radio Interviews page) , not just from talking to spiritual folk I know, but also from financial experts who are not necessarily affiliated with the ‘new age movement’ if you like. It’s also from my own inner knowing – and we all have this ‘knowingness’, this intuition, of what’s true and what’s not. (It may just need a bit of awareness to be noticed…) Anyway, it’s like all roads are leading to Rome.

This Rome is what this creaking planet is now purging from its bowels…

Maybe I’m attributing far too much intelligence to our beautiful planet for some people to take me seriously, but I do believe she is a living being that doesn’t talk in the same way we do, and certainly looks different. I also believe, that despite the way that humans have treated her, she stills retains humour. Take the ash cloud for one. You may have heard talk about the coming golden age where the phoenix will rise from the ashes….Hence you see the pun. Maybe me being OTT a new-age crack-pot, who knows…:)

Phoenix Rising – My Notes From 1997
At this point I’d like to share something that I posted on my previous Blog site, but since I decided to start clean with this new Blog, I want to add this again.

Last year I was clearing out a cupboard at home and came across a notebook of mine in which I had written some stuff back in 1997. The notes I had written were entitled ‘The Changes to Come….From Phoenix Rising by Mary Summer Rain.’ Now, Phoenix Rising was a book which when I read it made a big impression on me, so much so that I had taken the trouble to write down some notes.

Phoenix Rising was a book about an old American Indian shaman woman who lived in a mountain cabin in Colorado. She had great psychic vision and the book was written by Mary Summer Rain, who became her psychic apprentice, and together they travelled on psychic, visionary journeys through future time, where Mary was shown what was to come for humanity. The remarkable thing about this little old Indian woman was that she was totally blind, yet she lived completely alone in the mountains. Her name in the book was No-Eyes.

My notes were to do what No-Eyes’ predictions for humanity. I had categorized them under headings and here is what I listed under Economic changes (remember this was written in 1997):

- Massive blue collar strikes
- Relocation of key factories overseas
- Excessive taxation
- Small business failures
- Insolvency of many banks
- Stock market misdealing /decline
- Drastic construction decline
- Devaluation of real estate
- Cash as the only accepted tender…

Uncannily, all of the above have happened or are happening…Except perhaps the last one, but this looks set to be played out, but with gold and other precious metals becoming more valuable than possibly any other form of money and investment.

Kip Herriage – Free Economic Message
The above list is even more uncanny given what I have recently learnt through Wealth Masters International, a financial and wealth education company as well as a remarkable income opportunity for these current times. WMI’s co-founder Kip Herriage, who has been nicknamed the Nostradamus of Finance due to the accuracy of his predictions, recently issued his views and predictions of what’s to come. In another posts I have already offered anyone who comes to this Blog a free recording of his call on 6th May 2010 following the troubles Greece. I urge you to listen to it, if you haven’t already. Things are not looking rosy and it’s best to be informed…

Economic Update
Additionally, here is what Kip Herriage said this week in an email to all WMI members on Thurs 20th May 2010:

As of today, every indicator that I follow is flashing bright red. Europe is witnessing the beginning of the end of their common currency, the Euro. This currency collapse will bring trillions in new bank losses globally, and cause economic devastation throughout the continent.

In the United States, trillions in taxpayer funded bailouts have done little to get the economy on its feet again, and in hindsight will be shown to have done nothing more than contribute greatly to our more than $100 trillion in total debt. Debt that cannot, and will never be repaid.

This is it. We are officially crossing the line that we have warned about since the inception of WMI in 2005. Events in the world economy will now begin to unfold in seemingly uncontrollable fashion. Clueless governments still don’t understand that it was their ruinous actions that created a credit infested, fiat currency based, bankrupt world. They didn’t learn this lesson from their mistakes of the 1930’s and now it’s too late to prevent a similar lost decade this time…The consequences are clear; we will soon see hyperinflation, economic misery, and in many parts of the world, social unrest…very similar to what we are seeing in Greece and Thailand today.

Never in history has the world been in a situation when virtually all industrialized countries are bankrupt at the same time. And many feel that because there is really no precedent for what will happen in the next few years that our future looks bleak, and possibly even frightening.

Were I still stuck in my old Wall Street mindset, I might share in this dark and pessimistic view. Sure, I am concerned about what is headed our way, and I am extremely concerned for those that remain unprepared. However, there is a big flip side to this coin. You see, it is times just like these where massive wealth is created. For many this concept may be difficult to comprehend, but economic upheaval brings with it a new beginning, and through this new beginning, untold opportunities to build generational wealth. Many of you have heard me state the fact that “more wealth was created coming out of the Great Depression than existed before it began”. But how can this be? Doesn’t money just disappear when the stock market…and the real estate market…and the currency markets… collapse?

And this is where the most important point I can make comes into play. Energy and money share an absolutely similar trait. Like energy, money never disappears. And, just as energy “transfers” throughout the universe, money “changes hands” as it moves from the ill-informed to the well-informed.

And this is the purpose of my update to you today. The economic uncertainty unfolding will cause many to be scared and unsure of what their future holds. And while some of you reading this may go through periods where you share those same concerns, the most important thing you can do is to maintain a laser like focus on the opportunities that exist all around you. You see, entrepreneurs and independent thinkers will be the biggest winners of all in the years to come. And, when combined with your WMI education and your connection to our community of like-minded visionaries, you will find that everything you need… you actually already possess.

2012 – How It’s Panning Out
So… Is the predicted 2012 upon us? Yes.

Is 2012 going to be the end of the world? No. But…it will be the end of the world as we know it.

Is the worst behind us? No.

How bad could it get? Well, Kip is using the word calamity.

My intention with this blog is to offer information which would be useful for you, to say the least, not scare you. Isn’t it better to be informed? I want us to be prepared for the worst, and if things don’t take such a down turn then nothing lost, and you can say that silly, crazy woman! But if they do, then preparation is the key.

2012 Opportunities For The Small Business Owner
On the bright side, and in terms of surviving financially and taking advantage of these changes, here’s an interesting quote from Paul Zane Pilzer, Nobel Prize Winning Economist and Advisor to two US Presidents “In today’s world, working for yourself is actually the safer route, and working for a corporation has become the riskier proposition.”

Indeed, opportunities for those who choose to buck the sheep mentality and become independent thinkers are many. For these people are the ones that will learn skills that will stand them in good stead to ride the stormy seas, and offer others something of value. And it’s definitely time to take one’s destiny in one’s own hands. In fact, for many they have no choice after losing their previously unquestioned source of income (myself included, although I chose voluntary redundancy but the outcome is the same). After all, neither the government, nor the banks, nor your employer is going to be able to bail you out anymore.

Personally, I see the internet as the new employer, social security and bank. It is where many fortunes are going to be created out of people’s sheer hard work and dedication to taking their own survival into their own hands. It is those that develop skills and services that offer real value to others that will make the money. With the right system and team, you can definitely create a life of independence. But it’s not just about the money. It’s about sharing, helping, growing. Any guilt around money must now go, as well as greed. As my favourite Bob Dylan said all those years ago, ‘The times they are a changin’ – those words are true now more than ever.

For too long now, the ones who have thus far been pulling all the strings in the world and brainwashing us through the media and large corporations (eg pharmaceuticals), have been winning. But that time has changed. People are fed up of being told what to do. In fact, we’re sick of it.

We just need to clear out the muck from under the carpet. This muck is coming to light. On a spiritual level, they say the battle is already won, the dark forces running this world and keeping the masses down, have lost already.

And the reality once the muck has been cleaned up? My dream and hope would be for smaller, self-sufficient and self-regulating communities and schools, limited government, abundance enjoyed by many, small business, fewer taxes, and a joyful place where crime is no more. Maybe you think that’s idealistic.
