When people ask me about the cost of the Amega Wand I think some of them expect a price tag of about $100 max or some such amount, and some say they can’t afford the $298 or $268 (depending on whether retail or as a Business Associate).
Initially I too thought it was a bit steep, but then, you know us Asians, we’re a bunch of stingy gits. Haha. LOL. (Don’t mind my humour, I find it’s completely out of control thesedays for some reason…)
But now, I think the wand’s price is more than reasonable. Here’s why I think this:
As you might know from this blog I got the wand for the real bad tennis elbow I had and yup it’s now gone. So just on that basis it has been worth it to be free of that awful pain. But the other day I was talking with someone about the wand’s cost and it dawned on me that in actual fact the wand had SAVED me money – Truly!
Here’s what it saved me:
- Cost of an elbow brace: c£20 (note this is pounds sterling not dollars!). I was researching a brace to buy the day before I tried the wand for the first time. In fact I had control the urge to go to the pharmacy and get a brace.
- Cost of a pain relieving gel: £10. I was looking into this too, for times when I couldn’t wear the brace.
- Cost of voice activated software: anything between £200 to £700. I was calling up suppliers as I could no longer manage with typing and mouse work. I wanted the Dragon Professional, as this is said to be the easiest to use.
Total savings: between £230 – £700.
This doesn’t include anything else I might have gone on to pay for eg alternative therapies.
So now, having wanded and got my bio energetic energy system in gear, I don’t have a need to get any of the above. How marvellous is that?
And with the wand, you have it ‘forever’ – no batteries, no maintenance, no monthly payments. So how can you argue with that?!
In our UK Amega team there are two people who, after wanding, cancelled their previously booked knee operations, because their knees improved and there was no need to operate. Now, in the UK you do get free NHS healthcare, so perhaps there were no costs involved, but how about peripheral costs, eg additional treatments they might have gone for, or devices and creams, a bit like for my tennis elbow above? And what about in the US for eg, where you have to pay for healthcare? What about the issue of having an operation making your private healthcare premiums shoot up next time round? What about the loss of income if you are self-employed and can’t work whilst you recuperate, or time loved ones have to take off to look after you?
So as with all things, cost is relative and subjective. One has to take into account ALL costs associated with your own healthcare issues, and balance those against these powerful tools – the Wand and Pendant – that will stand your health in good stead forever.
And as far as the business and team-building is concerned, it is far easier to ‘sell’ this wonderful device than to sell someone a health drink say, that will cost them $180 pcm. I mean, in this climate that’s a tough business to build! And there are many an MLM that require such monthly expenditure…
Anyway, so that’s my tuppance worth on whether the wand is too expensive – the answer is it’s a bargain!
