They all relate to my experiences. I now experience not just through feelings or sensations, but more on an audible and visual level. To see wonderful streams of sparkly light appear and hear Spirit talk to me in among a noisy crowd like a busy shopping mall is something everyone should, and I know would love to experience. A person can truly experience heaven on earth, but only once they have be AWAKEN. The only problem I see with your argument is that most, if not all, of these sensations can be seen or experienced as something other than 'awakening.' A sense of calm and the ability to think more clearly certainly isn't a tell-tale sign of true spiritual awakening, maybe you just moved to a less stressful job; I guess what it boils down to is personal belief in your own spirituality. Great post, and very informative. It's key to have a supportive friend or friends along the way who are also doing their work. When we start awakening and bearing witness to the ego/self, it can feel scary and unfamiliar.
